Tucker named to Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-Midwest Region First Team

(Rolla, Mo.) – Missouri S&T senior outfielder Emily Tucker was named to the Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association First Team All-Midwest region announced on Thursday by the NFCA office. In addition to that honor she has also been selected to the Daktronics All-Midwest Region second team and ESPN the Magazine/COSIDA Academic All-District second team squad.

Lady Miners season comes to end at GLVC Tournament

(East Peoria, Ill.) – The Missouri S&T Lady Miners 2009 season came to end with a pair of run rule losses to Missouri-St. Louis, 10-0 in five innings and 9-0 to Indianapolis on Friday afternoon at the GLVC Postseason Tournament in East Peoria, Ill.

Lady Miners have four players named to All-GLVC Softball squad

(East Peoria, Ill.) – The Missouri S&T Lady Miners had four players named to the All-GLVC Softball squad on Thursday evening at the GLVC Softball Tournament banquet in East Peoria, Ill. Seniors Emily Tuckerand Jen O'Hara were named to the all-conference squad for the third straight season while junior Ashley Wallingford and sophomore Kassi Deibert earned their first selections to the team.
