Lady Miners close cross country season at NCAA Midwest Regional

KENOSHA, Wis. – Missouri S&T wrapped up its 2009 cross country season Saturday morning by finishing in 15^th place at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional meet. Freshman Lisa Lake was the top performer for the Lady Miners with a 47^th place finish in the 134-runner race, posting a time of 24:02 in the six-kilometer race.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Missouri S&T’s cross country squads both came away with seventh place finishes – and an all-conference performer for the Lady Miners -- Saturday at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships hosted by Bellarmine University. The top finisher for the Lady Miners Saturday was sophomore Colleen Conrad, who earned All-GLVC honors by coming in 13^th place in the six-kilometer race.

ROLLA, Mo. – Hosting a top-flight field in the inaugural GLVC-MIAA Challenge, Missouri S&T saw its women’s team place sixth and the men’s team come in eighth place Saturday morning in the cross country meet held at the S&T Golf Course.
