The Missouri S&T volleyball team will open its spring season Friday night with a match at the University of Missouri in Columbia, the first of three weekends that the Lady Miners will be playing during the spring semester.

Friday's game against the Tigers, who played in last year's NCAA Tournament, will start at 6 p.m. at the Hearnes Center and will be the start of a busy weekend for the Lady Miners as they will head to Warrensburg Saturday to play in the Jennies Spring Tournament. S&T will take on the UCM alumni team at 10 a.m., followed by matches against Nebraska-Omaha, Central Missouri and Southwest Baptist.

Admission will be free to all of the weekend matches, which will be played with a 60-minute running clock.

Missouri S&T will also play in a tournament at Southern Illinois University April 19 and at Southwest Baptist May 2 to wrap up the spring schedule.
