A number of individuals from the Missouri S&T track and field teams have earned all-conference honors after their performances over the weekend at the Great Lakes Valley Conference championships.
Both the men's and women's team had a conference champion at the meet in the pole vault -- Jordan Henry from the men's squad and Taylor Hahn from the women's team -- and as a result, both were selected to the All-GLVC first team for their efforts. Henry cleared 16-0 3/4 at the meet to win the men's pole vault, while Hahn broke the conference and school record with her clearance of 11-8.
The men's team had six individuals earn second team honors -- pole vaulter Jared Anders, triple jumper Kal-El Waters-Jones (both had second place finishes), sprinter Michael Wilson, pole vaulter Peter Hollenbeck and distance runners Brendan Smith and Joffroi Holcombe, all of whom placed third in their events.
Four members of the Lady Miners were second team selections -- pole vaulters Jamie Statler and Leah Moreland, who tied for third in the event; sprinter Aubrey Moore and weight thrower Hannah Terwelp, who set a school record in that event Saturday.
The Miners and Lady Miners each finished fourth in the meet.
