JOPLIN, Mo. -- The Lady Miner track and field team had a handful of competitors in action Friday at the Radio Shack Invitational at Missouri Southern State University.
The top finish of the night was recorded by Hannah Terwelp, where she improved on her school record mark in the event with a seventh place finish. Terwelp posted a mark of 48-2 in the event Friday.
Kendra Lewis finished ninth in the 200-meters with a time of 26.78, while Aubrey Moore was 11th in 26.95. The Lady Miners also got times of 27.32 from Katie Bruce and 27.40 from Hillary Griffith in the event.
Sarah Stach finished 12th in the long jump with a seasonal-best mark of 16-2 1/2, while Rebecca McNally posted a time of 11:54.49 in the 3,000-meters to finish 14th.
The meet at Missouri Southern will conclude Saturday.
