Missouri S&T has two promotional dates coming up next week when the men's and women's basketball teams begin a four-game homestand.
The Thursday, Feb. 7 game will be Spirit Night at S&T, and all fans who attend the doubleheader with Drury University will $2 off a ticket if you are wearing Missouri S&T or Miner apparel to the game.
The doubleheader will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the women's game, which features the top two teams in the Great Lakes Valley Conference's West Division. The Lady Miners are currently leading the division by one game over the Lady Panthers, who are ranked seventh nationally. Both teams are currently ranked among the top four in the Great Lakes region.
S&T will then host Fort Leonard Wood Appreciation Day on Saturday, Feb. 9, an event that will be sponsored by Miner Corporate Club platinum member Forum Dental.
All military personnel, active or retired, will be admitted free to the 1 p.m. doubleheader with Rockhurst University with a military identification card. A contingent of soldiers from Fort Leonard Wood is also expected to be in attendance for the games that afternoon.
