The University of Missouri-Rolla women's soccer team was one of several NCAA Division II institutions named as recipients of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America team academic award for the 2006-07 school year.

A total of 409 teams nationwide, covering men's and women's teams from all three NCAA divisions and the NAIA, received the award on the basis of its team grade point average of at least 3.0. UMR was one of 42 schools at the NCAA Divison II level to have its women's team land the award.

The Lady Miner squad was also one of five in the Great Lakes Valley Conference to be honored. UMR was joined in the group by Bellarmine, Indianapolis, Northern Kentucky and Rockhurst.
