The UMR volleyball team will host Missouri Valley College Tuesday night at the Bullman Multi-Purpose Building and is encouraging all fans to come to the 7 p.m. game dressed in black as part of "Black-Out Night" at UMR.
The Lady Miners are hoping to top the highest attendance mark in NCAA Division II this season of 1,436 established on Sept. 5 when Nebraska-Omaha hosted Wayne State (Neb.). UMR currently has the fourth-highest single-game mark this year of 1,200 for its opening night match against Drury and also drew 1,021 for its Sept. 14 game against Southern Indiana which is the 12th-best figure in 2007.
All fans who attend the match and wear at least a black shirt will receive $1 off a regular admission price to the game.
