HUNTINGBURG, Ind. -- University of Missouri-Rolla baseball player Thomas McCormick had a hit in three at-bats Monday night and drove in a run to help lead the Central Illinois Collegiate League to a 7-2 win in an all-star game over the KIT League All-Stars.

Playing as a representative of the Quincy Gems, McCormick's hit was an RBI double that capped a four-run third inning for CICL that broke a 1-1 tie in the contest.

McCormick, who will be a junior outfielder at UMR next spring, currently leads the CICL -- a summer league which uses wood bats -- in hitting with a .343 batting average, six home runs and 29 runs batted in.
