The Lady Miners led 44-20 at halftime, then outscored Lindenwood 17-2 over the first seven-plus minutes of the second half to put the game well out of reach.

UMR came into the contest with a significant size advantage and made the most of it, scoring 44 points in the paint to Lindenwood's 16 and getting 13 second chance points in the contest. UMR also outrebounded the Lady Lions by a 46-27 margin.

Tamara McCaskill led the Lady Miners with 14 points on the night while Katie Bunge had 13; both players had eight rebounds apiece to lead the way. UMR also got 10 points from Maggie Thompson, as the Lady Miner bench got significant playing time and scored 47 of UMR's 84 points on the night.
