The University of Missouri-Rolla Booster Club will hold its annual Tip-Off Dinner to introduce the UMR men's and owmen's basketball teams on Monday, Nov. 6 at Oak Meadow Country Club.
Tickets for the event are $15 and are available at the UMR athletics office or a from a UMR Booster Club board member. The event will start at 5:30 p.m. with a cash bar and the dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The men's basketball team will play two exhibition games next week, facing Arkansas State in Jonesboro, Ark., on Wednesday and the University of Missouri on Friday; the Miners' season opener is slated for Nov. 15 against Rhema Bible at the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building.
Meanwhile, the Lady Miners will play one exhibition contest -- Nov. 10 against Gold Star at home -- prior to their Nov. 17 opener against Wayne State (Mich.).
